The crash.

"They can't see us!"

A whip of a tail, then gone in a flash. She swerves violently. We’re hurtling down the highway at 110 kilometres per hour. The car starts violently veering all over the highway. I realise she's overcorrecting, "Let go of the wheel!" I yell out as lights, tar, and white lines are all blurring together like a hectic rave party. We are hurtling towards a bridge "brace yourselves! We're going over!" I yell instructions to my friends from the back seat. We bounce off the safety rail and start spinning in the other direction. Finally, the car comes to a halt and a sigh of relief. "Is everyone ok?" I inquire of my friends. It's then that I turn around to see the onslaught of traffic hurtling towards us… "they can't see us!"

"I thought you'd all be dead."

"Bloody Roo!" the truck driver curses as a kangaroo jumps across the busy highway. Up ahead, he sees the twirling of red and white lights dancing around the road. "Holy... shit..." The man watches up ahead as a small green sedan spins around and around. Working through the gears of his giant machine, he slows the beast down and watches the scene unfold in horror. The car hits the safety rail, then ricochets off in the opposite direction spinning out of control down the highway. Finally, the car comes to a complete stop. The truck driver positions his giant vehicle across the highway to stop the other drivers from running into the crash site. Tentatively, he steps down out of the truck and walks towards the scene, bracing himself for what he is about to witness. Closing in on the vehicle, he sees two women and a man standing outside the car, unharmed and unscathed "bloody hell", he remarks, "I thought you'd all be dead."
